Debuting her 16-minute short Streak at Regal South Beach on Friday during the Miami International Film Festival: Demi Moore, who went behind the camera to direct her 20-year-old daughter Rumer Willis.
Said Moore of directing her often tabloid-trashed daughter, ``The great thing is I'm seeing her mature and operate as a complete professional. And it's giving us another opportunity to connect in a totally different way.''
On Friday, the South Beach sushi restaurant dubiously titled Hot Tuna will be rolling out both sushi and a red carpet for Sopranos star Vincent Pastore, who will host a poker tourney there to benefit the Mercy House. That beautiful woman turned out to be Jeter's gal du jour, Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly, who also accompanied Jeter on Thursday night to dinner at Morton's The Steakhouse. According to a snitch, Jeter left a generous 50 percent tip. On Saturday afternoon, Jeter and Kelly lunched at a corner table at Perricone's Marketplace & Cafe.
In other couples news: Making their debut at Headliner Thursdays at Bongos Cuban Cafe, Kansas City Chiefs player Larry Johnson and new galpal Chilli (real name: Rozonda Thomas )of TLC fame. The duo arrived holding hands, but Chili refused photos. Johnson was busy popping $400 bottles of Ace of Spades champagne while Chili remained firmly planted on his lap.
